Motorola Mobility Q2 financial results show improvement

Motorola Mobility, a Lenovo Company, released its second quarter financial results some days ago, as part of Lenovo's Q2 press release, financial tables and presentation. The company reported sales of $1.7B, a 7.6% increase in revenue compared to the previous year.

The Chicago-based company also reported it has sold 3 million Moto Z phones in the past 12 months, and that it is increasing in Europe and Latin America like never before. In Latin America, Motorola already holds an amazing 15% market share, becoming the #2 manufacturer after Samsung.

Motorola's parent company expects Moto to be profitable by the second half of the year. This is all thanks to the impressive market efforts led by Motorola's CMO, Jan Huckfeldt and the marketing team at Moto. The brand is now seen everywhere and the visual identity is great.

Lenovo as a whole reported sales of 10 billion with improvements in the Mobile Business Group and the PC businesses. Over 11 million smartphones were sold during this quarter.
