Which Moto phones are likely to get Android O

Last week, Google announced Android O (8.0) for developers and with a future Q3 official release date. The update improves UI speeds, battery life, security enhancements, the ability to use the Youtube app while navigating through the device, and an improved notification system.

Android O is likely going to reach the following Motorola devices:

• Moto Z (& Droid edition)
• Moto Z Play (& Droid edition)
• Moto Z Force Droid
• Moto G5
• Moto G5 Plus
• Moto G4
• Moto G4 Plus
• Moto C*
• Moto C Plus*
• Moto Z2 Play
• Moto E4*
• Moto E4 Play*

The following might not get the new update:

• Moto G4 Play
• Moto M
• Moto E3 (& Moto E3 Power)
• Pre-2016 devices (Moto X Style, Droid Turbo 2)

Again, this list is according to us. Motorola will release a list of compatible devices as they always do, so stay tuned for their list. Ours is just an estimation.
