Moto Z Play gets March update, Moto G4 Play gets Nougat in June
Europe is now getting March's security patch for the Moto Z Play phone. Motorola is pushing the 195MB update right now, while other regions got this same update a few weeks ago.
At the same time, Motorola confirmed to AndroidAuthority that the Moto G4 Play will receive Android Nougat by June. Last year, Motorola stated in its website that the G4 family would get Nougat and Android O. The G4 Play is the lower end member of the G4 family, released in May 2016.
