Moto E3 gets software update

Motorola's affordable Moto E3 and E3 Power are getting a new software update right now. As you know by now, the E3 won't get Nougat because it would downgrade its performance, but that doesn't mean software support is over.

Motorola will keep updating the phone. The latest update improves performance on the device and brings Android's February security patch. Users will start seeing a notification to update the device in the coming days.

The Moto E3 (in Europe) and E3 Power (in Asia) were launched in Q3 2016 as Moto's low-end device for the year. It features a 5" 720p screen, a Mediatek processor, Android 6.0, and comes in 1/2GB of RAM and 2,800/3,500mAH configurations, respectively.
